Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu and Vanuatu Ministry of Foreign Affairs hold working consultations

Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, Li Minggang, held working consultations with the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vanuatu, Karalis.

Ambassador Li stated that since the beginning of this year, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vanuatu has continued to develop, with orderly inter party cooperation between the two countries, practical cooperation in various fields continuing to advance, more frequent personnel exchanges, and firm mutual support on issues related to each other's core interests and major concerns. In the next stage, China is willing to continue to provide assistance to the Vanuatu side to the best of its ability, and promote the sustainable development of Vanuatu society.

Karalis expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for providing selfless assistance to the development of Vanuatu over the long term, and stated that Vanuatu will abide by the One China principle and firmly support all efforts made by China to achieve reunification.

Ambassador Li introduced the cooperation between China and Vanuatu in the field of healthcare and stated that the healthcare industry is related to the lives and health of the two peoples. As a good brother and partner of mutual support and trust, China will continue to send medical teams to Vanuatu to provide high-quality medical services to the Vanuatu people, and provide assistance to the best of its ability in various aspects such as medical personnel training, further deepening practical cooperation between China and Vanuatu in healthcare and other fields, and promoting the construction of a Sino Vanuatu health community.

Minister Karali expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for their selfless assistance in human resources training, medical supplies, and other fields for a long time. He expressed that the Vanuayan side attaches great importance to the development of the medical and health industry and hopes to continue working together with the Chinese side to strengthen the exchange of experience among medical staff, build a platform for multi form medical cooperation, continuously improve Vanuayan medical level, and truly benefit the Vanuayan people.

Both sides exchanged in-depth views on the key points of cooperation in the next stage between the two countries.
