Adhering to the Spring Festival in a foreign land - 'I celebrate the New Year in Vanuatu'

In the South Pacific island nation of Vanuatu, there is a group of Chinese institutional employees. During the Spring Festival, they have also been sticking to their work posts.

This includes staff from the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu, a team of Chinese police experts, a Chinese medical team, Chinese language teachers, employees from China Civil Engineering Group South Pacific Co., Ltd., Sino-VU International Group, and so on.

Although it is currently the Spring Festival holiday in China, the Chinese aid medical team to Vanuatu is still providing serious diagnosis and treatment services at the Villa Central Hospital and conducting patrols in grassroots communities and outer islands to ensure the physical health of local residents.

At the end of last year, China Civil Engineering Group South Pacific Co., Ltd. had just completed the construction of the Malakura section of the Vanuatu Highway Project Phase II and successfully handed it over to Vanuatu. This year, efforts are being made to promote the construction of the Malakurano Sopo Airport upgrade and renovation Phase II project.

In order to create a festive atmosphere for employees of Chinese institutions in Vanuatu, the Chinese Embassy in Vanuatu recently held a Spring Festival gathering, with more than 80 people participating in the event.
We have organized various fun sports competitions, which have enhanced communication and interaction between each other. Although in a foreign land, the joyful atmosphere makes everyone feel warm inside. The event also set up group awards, with Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu Li Minggang and General Manager of China Civil Engineering Group South Pacific Limited presenting awards to the winners.
